A multi-activity week island hopping in Croatia
This relaxing yet action-packed trip is designed to help you find your perfect balance between some much-needed R & R and healthy living, exciting new challenges and adventure seeking.
Whether you’re escaping solo, with your partner, friends or family, step aboard the stunning 51ft GoX yacht and explore the islands along Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast, sleeping on board in a different location every night.
Each day brings new picturesque surroundings to explore and new adventures to be had while throughout the week there will be some regular favourites.
The itinerary may be full but this is your holiday and it’s up to you how much – or little – you do. We know you’ll love all of our sessions but if chilling on deck with a good book is what you need, then that’s fine with us too!
No experience is necessary, just bring a smile and a sense of adventure! Nathan and Sasha have years of experience in what they do and whether you are a complete novice or already an experienced pro, they will guide you through all the ropes and strokes, turns and techniques, postures and planking you’ll need, developing and challenging your skills, knowledge and ability as the week progresses.
What’s on offer: First and foremost all sessions are designed to be fun and work for all levels and abilities. An experienced Personal Trainer, yoga, pilates and SUP instructor, Sasha is a firm believer in working with what you’ve got, regardless of flexibility, size, age, shape or strength; and offers adaptations to deliver the right balance of challenge and fun for you.
Sailing: Get involved! Under the watchful eye of Captain Nathan, you’ll be winching and tacking in no time. It’s exhilarating and enormous fun!
SUP: What makes SUP and sail so unique is discovering something new everywhere we go, every trip. Paddle the turquoise waters of private bays and be wowed by the sheer beauty of your surroundings…we’ll even enjoy a twilight paddle, guided by the moon and stars (and torchlight!)
SUP Skills: Improve your SUP Skills in the sunshine. Step backs, racing, drafting, buoy turns … there will be plenty of opportunity to master new techniques and challenge ourselves on a point to point paddle and even a circumnavigation!
Learn to SUP: If the above words meant nothing to you and you’re completely new to SUP, then what better place to learn. Guided by Sasha’s patience and passion we’ll have you confidently up and standing in no time!
SUP Yoga: Often using modified postures to traditional yoga we swap our mat for a SUP and take to the water to stretch and strengthen the body and soothe the mind. This is the ultimate in blissed out mindfulness.
SUP Fitness: When the ‘ground’ beneath you is moving, your regular circuit training session switches up a gear. This is a full body workout that will leave your core screaming … out for more!
Swim: Every day, whenever you want. Snorkelling equipment is provided.
Hike & Bike: Rise above sea level by bike or on foot for some simply breathtaking views and who knows, maybe even a special surprise!
When we overnight in a marina we’ll often switch to land yoga or fitness session.
Life on board
Life on board GoX is fun and informal. As part of the 8-strong crew of like-minded souls we all get involved in helping to keep things shipshape and ensure we’re all fed and watered! The GoX is a 51ft Gib Sea yacht, spacious and comfortable she provides the perfect home from home for our island hopping adventure with stops along the way for SUP, yoga and fitness sessions and to hike and bike so that we can fully explore this beautiful region by both land and ocean.
Fresh white hotel quality linen is provided to ensure your comfort in one of 4 en-suite double/twin cabins. Cabins are shared and can be made up into twin or doubles depending who you’re sharing with. We will assign your sleeping arrangements appropriately so that you feel comfortable.
We use fresh, seasonal ingredients to prepare delicious, nutritious home-cooked meals. If you have any dietary requirements or preferences do please advise in advance and we will do our best to cater for your individual needs.
Part of the onboard experience is living and dining together with the choice of dining below deck or al fresco, as the sunsets and with perhaps a chilled sundowner (should you wish!)
We’ll spend relaxing evenings on deck, star-gazing and just breathing in the beauty and stillness before retiring for a comfy night’s sleep in preparation for the next day’s activities.
On terra firma
When we berth in a marina it provides the perfect opportunity to explore these architecturally beautiful towns and submerge ourselves in Croatian culture. We’ll dine at local restaurants, enjoy delicious ice-cream and peruse for keepsakes such as the locally produced lavender.
Under the guidance of Captain Nathan Williams, a fun-loving Master Mariner and owner of GoXperience, you’ll be learning the ropes and experiencing first-hand onboard living. We’ll all muck in with preparing delicious and nutritious meals to be enjoyed al fresco while the sun sets around us. With so many years spent working at sea, you can rest assured your safety and enjoyment are top of mind for Captain Williams.
Nathan is joined by Sasha Chisholm owner of Moxie Unleashed SUP & Fitness. A BSUPA Level 2 instructor, Personal Trainer, Yoga & Pilates teacher as well as SUP Yoga & SUP Pilates teacher, Sasha has a keen sense of adventure and is passionate about helping people develop healthier, more active lifestyles; to ‘GetFitStayFit’ and enjoy new challenges. Taking a holistic approach to health and wellbeing Sasha loves being outside and promotes the benefits of exercising outdoors and connecting with nature wherever possible. A keen eventer she’s also happy to share her top tips and advice, anything from marathon training to a 92km SUP Endurance race!
Although every trip is different, here is a typical itinerary to give you a feel for what to expect. The weather conditions often dictate the specific route we take and where we overnight.
We aim to have 2 nights ‘wild’, on board in a remote location before heading to a marina to replenish water and supplies, before sailing off to go wild again!
Every day there will typically be a pre and post breakfast activity before we set sail. Lunch is taken on board as we sail and then after we anchor for the night there will be time for another activity before dinner. Getting involved with sailing duties is an every day (optional) activity!
Day 1: Kastela to Brac (L, D, ON) 11am: Arrive Kastela Marina & welcome briefing 12pm: Depart for secluded bay, Brac
